From the Wycliffe Website

On February 15, 2009 Professors David Reed and Glen Taylor fly to Gambiawith Steve Hewko, currently a Wycliffe student and head of the ChristianVolunteer Movement (CVM).

With the help of CVM, a mission to Gambia, they plan to explore with the local Christian community what, if anything, Wycliffe College professors and graduate students might do with the Gambian church to foster theological education among theirleaders.

Hewko, Reed and Taylor will meet with Anglican and otherdenominational leaders to hear their needs and ideas for theologicaltraining. They will also hold a conference on theologicaleducation.

Professors Taylor and Reed will give a number of lectures, offer afew workshops, and preach, but will mostly listen for the Gambianleadership's vision of theological training for their country. DrReed will lead a healing service as well.

Please pray for safety, good health and the gift of discernment as Wycliffe embarks on this new venture
